What’s been happening:

1958 seems a million years ago, but passed so quickly, I don't know how that happened. Graduated - June 7, 1958 (Liberal Arts). Married - August 11, 1958 to Richard Winston class of 1957 (Liberal Arts). First child (boy) born July 1, 1960, an attorney with Koch Industries, Inc. as Senior Counsel. Second child (girl) born August 16, 1961, former Marketing Advertising Manager for McDonald's Corp. in Hawaii, and currently living and working in Florida with Aflac, Third child (boy) born December 21, 1962, former hotel executive for Island of Lanii, and currently living and working in Florida with Jor.nee' as V.P. Sales, Fourth child (boy) born April 5, 1967, TV producer for "Scrubs" sitcom. Frequent family relocations throughout Richard's career path and currently living in Bowie, MD aka part of Greater Washington,DC (Barbara's birth place). 50 years, as you know, is a very long or very short period in history depending on which markers you identify. Many of the events we enjoyed and cherished, don't even exist anymore e.g. the QE2, the Concorde, Roland Garros w/o a retractable roof proposal, Wimbledon w/ retractable roof etc. - long time. Grown kids w/ children - short time. Grandkids are the best change, of course. However, with 3 married out of 4 kids and only 3 grandkids, we're feeling really cheated.
